Salar
Nico Valsesia and Marco Gazzola have a project: to run non-stop across the Salar de Uyuni (Bolivia), the largest salt flat in the world, trapped for millions of years at 3,650 meters above sea level, the Bolivian plateau south of La Paz. Its 12,000 square kilometers of salt make it the place with the largest concentration of lithium on Earth. "Salar" tells the adventure of two ultrathletes who travelled to Bolivia to run day and night without stopping, through the 170 km that separate the two shores of the Salar de Uyuni, an achievement never accomplished by any known athlete.
