Onekotan, an island with a collapsed volcano at its center, is one of the most remote places in the world. The weather is unpredictable, and the conditions make it uninhabitable. Yet, the appearance and allure of the volcanic island are indescribable. Matthias Haunholder, Matthias Mayr, and Phil Meier, three friends, will attempt to ski down the volcano on Onekotan.
