One Water Race

One Water Race

One Water Race pits elite endurance athletes against the raw forces of nature as they tackle 250 kilometers of running, swimming, and orienteering through Sweden's iconic Stockholm archipelago. Seven mixed-gender teams battle day and night in an unmarked course from Arholma in the north to Landsort in the south, navigating treacherous waters and rugged terrain. With only a compass and their will to win, athletes must cover roughly 200 kilometers on foot across cliffs, trails, and unpaved paths and 50 kilometers in open sea, braving harsh currents and waves. More than a race, One Water Race is an urgent call for environmental action, spotlighting the ocean’s role in climate regulation. Each team aims for the $100,000 prize and the title of world’s toughest endurance race champion, but the true victory lies in raising awareness of ocean conservation.
