Higher than the Condors
Nico Valsesia is an Italian athlete from the Piedmont region who travels by bike and on foot on every possible terrain. One day he decided that the summit of Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Americas, could be an interesting target. To give the mountain importance he starts in an original way: from zero, sea level, and as quickly and light as possible. The feat is not only for Nico Valsesia but also for the support team who documents everything on video. In the mountains they will follow him so they will have to train in the same way. The challenge begins in Viña del Mar, Chile. The temperature is close to 37° C and this heat was not expected. After days of racing up and down these mountains, dehydration will play a nasty trick on Nico. What pushes him to not give up is the enormous effort they’ve made so far. Will Nico and his team conquer Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Andes and the American continent: 6,962 m above sea level?
