Foil the Strait
On 25th April 2021, Brian Walters & Justin Grobler set off to be the first kiters to do a return crossing of the Cook Strait in New Zealand on hydrofoils. It took 2 years of planning, in which they commissioned the services of Phil Rush for boat support and Mark Tantrum Photography to document the journey. The round trip took 68 kms and 2h 58m. This documentary tells the story of this epic adventure. Winner – Sea to Sky International Film Festival.
